Signed a one year deal

Apologies for the recent lack of updates

to the site. In recent news Scott McLean

won the Second Division POTY, Alan

Archibald and Stephen Craigan signed two

year deals, with David McCallum signing a

one year deal, and Fernando Ricksen's brother

Pedro is on trial at Firhill. Also, prices are

£12 for adults and £6 for under 16s/oaps

now.

Once again, attacked by Lambie

Thistle manager John Lambie defended

his recent attack on Peter Lindau picking

up the Man of the Match award on

Saturday against Arbroath. He said that

he had the right to say what he felt was

right. Oh well.

John Lambie has snapped up Queens

Park captain Denis Connaghan in a

one year deal. Although the transfer

deadline is already up, he would not

be able to play anyway due to

suspension.

Raging manager John Lambie

John Lambie was understandably angry

about Saturdays performance against

Arbroath, where it was hoped some

of the fringe players would show they

were worth a new contract. However

not only was he upset about the squad

members, he was enraged that Peter

Lindau was awarded the MoM, saying

it was a "joke" he got it. Hmmmm.

Presented signed ball, wanted pie

You may have seen someone win a signed ball

at today's game. Well, the lucky winner from

the PTFC.co.uk competition was amazingly me!

The ball is signed by the entire first team squad,

but no coaches. Scott McLean presented it to

me at half time. For your chance to win, visit

Recalled to the side, and at blame for goal.

Another poor performance by an under strength

Jags team without top scorers Scott McLean and

Martin Hardie. Paul McGrillen, Michael Brown,

Peter Lindau, Mark McNally and Stephen

Docherty were all recalled to the side. Report

up later.

The t-shirts that were worn by the Jags players

after the championship being won will be on sale

in both of the shops, as well as by Thistle staff

around the ground. T-shirts priced £10.

McLean: Up for award

Martin Hardie and Scott McLean were today nominated 

for the Second Division Player of the Year. Ex-Jag Isaac

English, and Queen of the South striker Peter Weatherston

are also in the running.

Staying?

Thistle look to extend many of the players contracts, having

already snapped up Willie Howie and Danny Lennon on

two year deals. Fans favourite Peter Lindau is almost

certain to stay, but not at all costs. Alan Archibald and

Mark McNally have already admitted they want to stay,

but it remains to be seen whether they will.

The Division 2 champions!Thistle clinched the championship on Saturday with a 2-2 draw at Station Park, Forfar. Barry Elliot grabbed his first goal for the club,

and Paul McGrillen scored with his first touch.
